Our Story
It all started late March 2019 when, after being frustrated with the process of selling items on Facebook marketplace and Kijiji, founder Jackson Payne believed he could make it easier to facilitate these sales. From this, the idea of Deeleeo was born – a peer to peer (a to b) crowdsourced delivery service.
Deeleeo was incorporated on May 14th, 2019. After months of business model refinement, research on the delivery industry, and involving the right people, tech development started in January 2020 with funding supported by our first partner, Classic Landscapes Limited. Seven months later, we had a product ready to test. On Sept 1st, 2020 our website was launched and on Oct 5th, 2020 both mobile apps hit the app stores.
Throughout this journey, Deeleeo discovered not only a need for personal delivery, but also a need for an improved approach to local business delivery. In a short amount of time Deeleeo has developed solutions for businesses users and personal users alike. Deeleeo has proven to be a solution to a wide range of local businesses gaining significant momentum in the eCommerce space with its wide variety of products: mobile apps, web portal, Shopify and Magento integrations, and API documentation. Even though the vision of Deeleeo has evolved since its inception, our mission holds true: leveraging and developing technology to simplify delivery for businesses and consumers everywhere.

Founder
Jackson Payne is the founder and CEO of Deeleeo. Prior to starting Deeleeo, Jackson was a member of the Canadian National Gymnastics Team for more than 15 years. He competed on some of the worlds biggest stages in over 20 counties around the world. He has been on 7 World Championship Teams, is a multiple World Cup medalist, 4-time Canadian All Around National Champion, a Commonwealth Games Silver Medalist, and was named as the first alternate for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Jackson is a husband to his beautiful wife, Julie, and a proud father of daughters Joan and Mindy.
After a 20 year gymnastics career, Jackson has truly found his next passion in Deeleeo, and loves to see local businesses and members of the community thrive by simplifying their deliveries.
